 Here at Guymon Junior High School we are committed to capturing kids’ hearts in order to capture kids’ minds. Our vision as a staff is to prepare our students academically and socially for success in school and success in the world beyond school.

 We believe that education begins with a strong foundation of academics but extends to a social awareness of the need to “give back” to the community.

 While honoring the work of those who have gone before me, I recognize that today’s students need a more vibrant and challenging education than ever before.  Guymon Junior High is ready for the challenge of preparing students who will eagerly embrace the opportunities that tomorrow’s global economy will provide.
